PakiNeeds | A New Octa-Core Android 4.4 Smartphone Unveiled By Lava Mobiles

Lava Mobiles has unveiled a new octa-core Android 4.4 smartphone ‘Iris X8′ to its range. Coming in black and white color options, this mid-range smartphone is equipped with a 5.0-inch 1280 x 720 HD IPS display with Asahi Dragontrail glass protection, a 1.4GHz octa-core MediaTek MT6592M processor, a 2GB RAM, a 16GB of expandable internal storage (up to 32GB) and dual SIM card slots. Running on Android 4.4 KitKat OS (upgradable to Android 5.0 Lollipop), the handset sports a 3MP front-facing camera, an 8MP rear-facing camera with dual LED flash and BSI 3 sensor, an FM radio and a 2500mAh battery. For connectivity, the Iris X8 provides 3G HSPA+, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS. The Lava Iris X8 is now listed on Flipkart for Rs 8,999 (about $145).
