HTC has officially released their latest 4G LTE-enabled Android 4.4 smartphone ‘Desire 626′ in Taiwan. Powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core Cortex-A53 (Qualcomm Snapdragon 410) processor, this mid-range smartphone is configured with a 5.0-inch 1280 x 720 HD display, a 1GB RAM, a 16GB of expandable internal storage and a microSD card slot (up to 32GB). Running on Android 4.4 KitKat OS with HTC Sense UI on top, the handset comes complete with a 5MP front-facing camera with 1080p Full HD video recording, a 13MP rear-facing camera with LED flash, BSI sensor and 1080p Full HD video recording, and a 2000mAh non-removable battery. Connectivity-wise, the Desire 626 provides 4G LTE, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n with DLNA, Bluetooth 4.0 and A-GPS. The HTC Desire 626 is now available for purchase in Taiwan for NT$5,990 (about $190).
